Veterinary Physiotherapist…
I hold a Master of Science degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy from the University of Nottingham and a BSc (Hons) in Equine Therapy and Rehabilitation from Coventry University. My two research projects, investigating the effects of sports massage on gait, range of movement and kinematics in horses, and tissue responses to racing in greyhounds is consistent with my love of sport and performance.
With a lifelong passion for horses, I’ve competed in affiliated Eventing, Show Jumping, and Dressage. This hands-on experience gives me a deep understanding of the demands on sports and performance horses, and a natural affinity with dogs and horses. I am dedicated to providing the highest standard of professional treatment, striving to offer exceptional care for both sporting and companion animals.
What Is Veterinary Physiotherapy?
Animal physiotherapy is a clinical, science-based approach to improving movement and managing pain in animals. It is commonly used to support recovery following surgery or injury, manage long-term conditions such as arthritis, and enhance performance in sporting and working dogs and horses.
Using a combination of hands-on techniques, targeted exercises and electrotherapy, veterinary physiotherapy helps restore function, build strength and prevent further injury.
Our Veterinary Physiotherapy Services
Our animal physiotherapy services are tailored to each animal following a full assessment. Treatments may include:
-
Manual and massage therapy to relieve muscle tension and discomfort
-
Bespoke exercise prescription to improve strength, balance and coordination
-
Electrotherapy to reduce inflammation, aid healing and manage pain
Each treatment plan is designed to support your animal’s recovery while fitting around their lifestyle and veterinary guidance.
